- Why it fails
- Each portal wants exact dimensions — 600×600 for DS-160, 354×472 for COVA, 420×540+ for Canada. A photo sized for one portal fails another.
- The fix

File size outside the limit
- Why it fails
- Caps range from 100KB (K-ETA) to 6MB (UK), and some portals enforce lower bounds too. Phone photos exceed most caps by 20×.

Head too big or too small in frame
- Why it fails
- Portals measure your head as a percentage of frame height — and the accepted bands differ wildly (US 50–69%, Schengen 70–80%).
